[SRC-073] Baptised Beaufort West 3 Oct 1819 - the first of the children baptised there rather than at Graaff-Reinet, which dates the family's move west. No marriage found; one of the three sons Pottas was asking the list about in 2005, and still open.
[3 Aug 2026, SRC-200] Named as father at BWB-273-07, the baptism of his daughter Susara Johanna (PER-000843) on 26 December 1842, veldkornetskap Hatting. Two of his brothers stood witness.
[24 Aug 2026] MARRIED AT COLESBERG, 24 January 1842, to Susanna Margaretha Liebenberg (PER-001267, KCV3-HFS) per FS - THE SECOND BRANCH ON THAT FRONTIER: Ockert Almero and Adriana Cecilia's son on the same ground where the Venter cousins stood at Middelveld (SRC-577/578), in the same decade. Nine children per FS, born 1842-1864, ids on the card: Susara Johanna L5B7-SLN (PER-000843), Ockert Jacobus GHF6-ZBB, Philippus Jacobus LTRX-2QQ, Adriana Cecilia G8HH-HND, Pieter Marthinus GMGP-4RD (PER-000846), Jan Adriaan GHJW-BGK, Susanna Margaretha KH26-GL6, Johanna Catharina GVZG-NRL, Margaretha Elizabeth GVZ5-NLT - the unheld seven are recorded here as citations, not created as rows. His son Pieter Marthinus RETURNED to Prince Albert (married there 1877, died there 1925), which is how the Botha notice of 1973 comes home to this district.
