[3 Aug 2026, SRC-200] HER BAPTISM IS IN THE REGISTER: BWB-273-07, born 29 October 1842, baptised 26 December 1842 at Beaufort West in the veldkornetskap Hatting. The witnesses were her father's brothers GERRIT ADRIAAN (PER-000127) and CORNELIS ANDRIES OOSTHUIZEN (PER-000128), with Catharina Adriana van VeurenM. SHE IS ALSO A CORRECTION TO THIS PROJECT: the scan cuts her forename and I transcribed the tail as '[?]arus Johannes', a man's name. Frans matched the couple and the exact birth date on FamilySearch and it is SUSARA JOHANNA.
[24 Aug 2026] FS (L5B7-SLN) gives 1842-1931 against this row's 1843~ - the first child of the 24 Jan 1842 Colesberg marriage. Year left as the tree wrote it; FS is worse at dates than registers and neither is an original here. [TO VERIFY]
