Die Landmeter-generaal het by elke plaas die naam van die geregistreerde titelhouer gedruk, die datum waarop die titel uitgereik is, en die volume en nommer van die erfpagtitel: B.W.Q. vir Beaufort-Wes, P.A.Q. vir Prince Albert, W.Q. vir Worcester, Will. Q. vir Willowmore. 'n Gewysigde titel staan as sodanig aangedui. Grond wat nog aan die Kroon behoort het, kry net 'n naam.
Hierdie reëls is 'n indeks, nie 'n rekord nie. Elkeen is 'n byskrif soos dit op die kaart gedruk staan, met 'n vraagteken waar die druk onduidelik is. 'n Reël skakel net na 'n plaas as die naam én die plek waar dit gedruk is, albei by daardie plaas pas. Dra die grond vandag 'n ander naam, dan sê die aantekening in watter plaas die byskrif lê, en word dit nie gekoppel nie. 100 reëls skakel na 'n plaasblad.
