Research notes
Farmer at ZEEKOEGAT; married Maria Johanna van Oosterzee DuminyH. [SRC-071]
30 Jul 2026 [FS]: FamilySearch GHFD-XD8 - which names him JAMES David Abraham, 1878-1957; the tree and our baptism-pattern reading say JACOBUS Daniel Abraham. Same man, anglicised on FS [TO VERIFY against the baptism register]. Death 10 May 1957 per tree, FS year agrees.
[7 Aug 2026] MERGED PER-001261 into this row. Same man twice: born 1878, married Maria Johanna van Oosterzee DuminyH, and PER-000075's own note already recorded that FamilySearch names him JAMES David Abraham. PER-001261 was created by kin_sweep on 31 Jul 2026 as 'spouse of Maria Johanna van Oosterzee DuminyH' - the same wife. TWO FamilySearch ids exist for him, GHFD-XD8 and G99P-NWR; both are kept in the notes because a retired id still redirects. D.A. gravestone. DISAGREEMENTS, kept rather than resolved - the FamilySearch id settles these in one click: display_name: kept 'Jacobus Daniel Abraham OosthuizenH', PER-001261 said 'James David Abraham Oosthuizen'; tree id: kept '', PER-001261 said ''; familysearch_id: kept 'GHFD-XD8', PER-001261 said 'G99P-NWR'. Retired ids kept for the trail: tree, FamilySearch G99P-NWR - a merged FamilySearch id still resolves, so it remains a usable door.
These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
