Research notes
[SRC-249] FARMER, of the District of Prince Albert. His own death notice gives his age as fifty and his death as 4 September 1863 "at the residence at [?Hoeagus]". Father of five, husband of Maria Magdalena Elisabeth van der WesthuizenH, and BROTHER OF Catharina Adriana (PER-000605) who married Gert Adriaan OosthuizenM - which is how the van Vuurens of Wilgemond join this project's families. Two of his children are baptised in the Beaufort West register: BWB-232-11 (1839) and BWB-261-07 (1841).
These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
