HIS BAPTISM IS HELD HERE: entry BWB-232-11 of the Beaufort West register, born 18 October 1839 to Cornelis Petrus Janse van Veuren and Maria Magdalena Elizabetta van der Westhuizen. Register, tree and death notice agree - the baptism entry, the tree birth year and the notice all describe one child. Named for his father, per the Cape naming pattern.
