[15 Aug 2026, SRC-442] CALLED ETTE. Named by her niece in 2011, in the same sentence that gives Ockie and Belle their names. She is one of the three children in the Onse Rus photograph.
[17 Aug 2026, SRC-007] AND SHE HAD A VIEW ABOUT IT. CJJ Oosthuizen's account records that she preferred "Tant" or "TA ET" and disliked "Tannie Ettie". The noemnaam column keeps Ette, which is the short form the family used; what she wanted to be called is a different thing and belongs in words.

The January 2011 exchange about Onse Rus names photographs the model has no file for: (1) the broken MARBLE original of Ockert Almero OosthuizenL's gravestone, lying on Vischat, which Frans attached to his own email; (2) a studio photograph of three of the grandchildren - Ette, Ockie and Belle - on the guesthouse website; (3) whatever else that website carries. Can they be got?
