The surname at heir 9 is not read with confidence and is left bracketed rather than given a confident form. *** IT PLACES THE COUPLE IN THE ROGGEVELD, NOT IN THIS DISTRICT. *** Born in the Klein Roggeveld, dead in the Middel Roggeveld in her son Jacob's house, seven years after her husband. Nothing on the sheet touches Prince Albert. | *** AND IT CONFIRMS SRC-600 FROM THE OTHER SIDE. *** The witnesses at the Tulbagh font in 1794 were 'Jacob Cloete en Johanna Hendrina Cloete', and this notice names her father as JACOB CLOETE. The man standing at his granddaughter's baptism is exactly the kin signal 5-third-rule says a witness column carries. | DISAGREEMENT ON THE DAY: the notice says 20 March 1837, FamilySearch MQL7-XBF says 28 March. The original is followed; the FS reading is recorded rather than overwritten. | *** IT LOOKS LIKE THE ANSWER TO LEAD-0319 AND IT IS NOT. *** Heir 3 is an ALETTA FRANCINA of this couple, alive in 1837. She cannot be PER-000349, born 10 September 1794, because SRC-600 has this same mother baptising CHRISTINA born 30 September 1794. Twenty days apart in one womb is impossible.
