The citation as it was given
2137 morgen 593 square roods in the FIELD CORNETCY OF TRAKA, "being portion ZOUT WATER of the farm Klipgat GRANTED TO THE LATE LOUIS DANIEL FRANCOIS VAN ZYL on the 9th Sept 1911". Transferred on deed 8820 of 15 November 1916 to CHRISTIAN H. VAN ZYL. TWO FAMILIES OF THIS PROJECT ON ONE SHEET. The grantee and transferee are VAN ZYL (STO-0018), and the western boundary is given as "Portion ZEEKOE GAT transferred to P.J. SWANEPOEL 30.7.1867" - a Swanepoel holding part of Zeekoegat from 1867, which this model does not record anywhere. Zeekoegat is PAR-000013, the farm F.S. Oosthuizen built his church on. Otherwise bounded NW and NE by Bontwater, S by Bulhouwer and Quaggas Poel, E by Quaggas Poel. Bayleys Trig Station stands on it.
Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
