[9 Aug 2026, and SRC-227 on 3 Aug] FACE READ. PAR-000104 carries the substance.
Caption verbatim: "The above diagram lettered A.B.C.D.E.F. represents 2137 morgen 593 square roods of land situate in the Field-Cornetcy of Traka, Division of Prince Albert, being portion 'Zout Water' of the farm Klipgat granted to the late Louis Daniel Francois van ZylM on the 9th Sept 1911." Bounded NW'ds by Bontwater; NE by Bontwater; S by Bulhouwer and Quaggas Poel; W by Portion Zeekoe Gat transferred to P J Swanepoel 30.7.1867; E'wds by Quaggas Poel. "Surveyed and beaconed by me according to regulations (Sgd) A. I de Villiers, Government Land Surveyor, December 1911." Six beacons A-F with co-ordinates, sides and angles; the area block reads "AREA 2137 MORGEN 593 Sq ROODS". Scale 500 Cape roods to one inch.
Top left: "Deducted No. 283, Feb 5 - 1913, (Sgd) W.P. Murray for Surveyor-General" - the deduction was registered fourteen months after the survey and nearly four years before the 1916 transfer. BAYLEYS TRIG STATION is marked on the ground and tabled with its own co-ordinates, +1314.20 / +2439.74. Copy stamp: "Transfer 8820, 15th November 1916, Christian H. van Zyl", re-stamped by W.G. Hardwick 30.1.1950.
