The citation as it was given
2055 morgen 216 square roods, stamped metric 1760.4817 ha, field cornetcy of KREDOUW. Surveyed March 1913 by K.M. von Oppell; beacons pointed out by C.J. Schoeman F.C.; examiner J.W. Leendertz(?). Reserved for Forest purposes, Lands Min 2523/6615 dated 21-1-1915 - the SAME reservation as Witberg (SRC-153), so the two went into the Swartberg reserve together. TWO THINGS ON THE BOUNDARY LIST ARE FINDINGS IN THEMSELVES: it is bounded on the west by 'LAND GRANTED TO C. HATTING 15 APL 1841', which names the 1841 grantee of Klein Valie that SRC-149 could not; and on the south by 'KLEINE VALLEY EN DE AAP', which shows The Ape was granted together with Klein Valie rather than separately - most of LEAD-0026 answered. Bounded N by Bloemendal and Venters Kloof, SE by MIDDEL WATER.
Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
