The citation as it was given
7011 morgen 210 square roods, stamped metric area 6005.4457 hectares. Field cornetcy of KREDOUW. Bounded N by the farms Wilgemond, Vrolykheid and Roode Els Bosch; NE by Hagas; S by Blaauw Punt, Erin, Zwart Berg and Blesberg; W and SE by Crown Land. Surveyed March 1913 by K.M. von Oppell, Government Land Surveyor; beacons pointed out by C.J. Schoeman, F.C. Annotated 'Reserved for Forest purposes, Lands Min 2523/6615 dated 21-1-1915' - the Swartberg forest reserve, taking the mountain ground out of farming within two years of its survey.
