Loan farm KLEIN VALIE with the annexed Government ground THE APE, 7215 morgen, surveyed for CHRISTIAN HATTING JUNIOR, in the Zwarte Berg, field cornetcy of C. Hatting - so very likely father and son, though the sheet does not say so and 9 forbids matching on a name. Bounded N by Middle water and Government ground, S by Zwarte Berg, E by Wilga-mount. Signed C. Lennet [Lennox] Stretch, August 1833. Copied from the diagram relating to Title Bf.W.Q.5-6 dated 15.4.1841. Sheet BL-3D, copy 20.9.1963. The diagram carries five internal names that become the 1919 portions: Nieuwe Kraal, Oude Kraal, Gideons Hoop, Koude Veld, Groote Leegte.
