KIN: brother of SUSANNA VAN WYK (1725-1806, PER-000748), wife of Cornelis van TonderenM, so the UNCLE of Susanna Catharina van TonderM (PER-000119), Ockert Oosthuizen's wife [TREE]. ON THE GROUND (SRC-651, a family blog citing A. Appel's Oudtshoorn study and RLR 16 p. 109 [TO VERIFY]): grazing rights in October 1760 on the loan place VERGELEGEN 'in die Cango agter de Cochemans Cloof', among the first trekboers of the present Oudtshoorn district; lieutenant of the Swellendam burgher force until December 1781; with his sons in the Swellendam opgaafrol of 1793.
