[FS] Second wife, married 8 September 1884 at Prince Albert and dead the same year per FS - a marriage of months at most, if both dates hold. [TO VERIFY]. Le Grange is the same district family that named Petrus Jacobus le Grange Botha.

[SRC-588] The register in full: twenty, jongedochter, of GROOT WATERVAL, parents consenting, G.M. la Grange a witness - her own family standing by her.

[SRC-589] Her death is BRACKETED BY THE TWO REGISTERS: married 8 September 1884, and her husband stands as weduwenaar at his next wedding on 17 August 1885 - a marriage of eleven months at the very most. FS's bare 1884 sits inside the bracket.

[26 Aug 2026] Her husband's brother married another le Grange, Johanna Maria Magdalena (PER-000036), at Prince Albert in 1887, three years after this marriage; that woman is buried in the Botma ground on Vredendal. Sisters is likely and unproven.
