  FamilySearch lists twelve children for Jacobus OosthuizenL b.1722 (LHLG-SXG). This model holds thirteen. Is PER-000659, born 12 November 1755, a real child, another row for one of the twelve, or somebody else's son?

  DOC-0066 (MOOC8/24.27, 1802-04-27) lists a household's whole movable estate, which means officials went to where that household lived. It says “ter plaatse van Pieter Cornelis Oosthuysen (farm not named)” and no more. No parcel is attached, so the family it describes sits nowhere on the map.

  What would settle it The inventory's own heading usually names the farm and the field-cornetcy; where it does not, the deceased's quitrent or opgaaf entry for that year will. This is the shape that produced the de Bruin/Rondabel find.
