DERIVATIVE BUT SOURCED, which is the reason to keep it: it cites a record per entry - town baptism, marriage and membership registers, grave records, and death notices by number - rather than asserting. Its own key lists some thirty registers and a dozen published family histories. IT CITES THE TWO DEATH NOTICES THIS PROJECT ALREADY HOLDS: entry 3219 is 'Adriana Cecilia Venter ($5024/1858 p62) 1792-1858 x 3.10.1807 Ockert Almero Oosthuizen ($5848/1859C) 1786-1859', and 5848 of 1859 is SRC-077 here. An independent compilation reaching the same two documents. It gives Jan Louis Venter de oude as baptised 9 August 1754, at Stellenbosch and then farming Klipfontein onder Sneeuwberg, Graaff-Reinet from 20 August 1776, married 27 April 1777 to Johanna Jacomina Smit, baptised 18 May 1760 - which is the birth year this model already carries for PER-000121. [TO VERIFY] on two points: it counts THIRTEEN children for the 1807 couple where this model holds fourteen; and no author is named, so it cannot be weighed the way a signed compilation can.

Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
