Married in de Nederduitsche Hervormde Kerk te Colesberg by Thomas Reid, and certified against the original register by the same. HE SIGNS "Jacobus Johannes Oosthuysen" - the same -uysen form he signed on his father's 1809 inventory (SRC-092), thirty-eight years apart. THE TWO WITNESS NAMES ARE NOT LEGIBLE ENOUGH TO TRANSCRIBE and are left [illegible] rather than guessed; one may begin "G.N. v.d. Berg". | THE FIELD THAT MATTERS IS WOONPLAATS. In February 1847 this man was living in the HANTAM - the Calvinia country - and his bride in Colesberg. He died at Grootfontein, division Colesberg, twenty years later (SRC-451).
