Thin record under 6's land amendment: grantee of Ockerts Kraal No. 502, Swellendam (PAR-000324) - 3706 morgen surveyed for him by F. Rawstone, title Sw.Q.13-79 dated 1 November 1838 (DOC-0347). Surname as the diagram writes it, FORIE, a period spelling of Fourie; the western boundary names P.J. and J.N. Forie, likely kin. No FamilySearch id yet - a gap worth closing. Publishes on the 1838 grant via derived attestation (route 4).
