[25 Aug 2026] VERY LIKELY THE 'OOM KLAAS BOTHA' OF THE DAGBOEK (SRC-586, STO-0048), who alone ploughed with a span of donkeys in the Kouwveldt years: Klaas is the noemnaam of Nicolaas, he married Susanna Catharina OosthuizenL (PER-000156), daughter of Jan Adriaan - making him the diarist's uncle by marriage, 'oom' exactly - and a J.N. BOTHA (PER-000325) co-held Vaste Water on Middelwater ground per the 1884 LT plan: right name, right ground, right decade. Frans pointed at the identification THREE ROWS, NOT MERGED: whether PER-000325's J.N. is this man needs the Vaste Water papers. [TO VERIFY]
