Research notes

[TREE] Added 2026-07-31 by kin_sweep.py under the one-degree rule: child of Cornelis Andries OosthuizenL. Thin record, name, dates and the family link only. NO PLACE IMPORTED: the tree's place strings are systematically wrong and are not evidence.

[6 Aug 2026] MERGED PER-001053 into this row. One woman, duplicated upstream. Found 6 Aug 2026 by the new sibling-spacing check: two children of Martha Jacomina PienaarL dated 15 and 16 April 1847, ONE DAY apart and not twins - twins are not given the same three given names. Confirmed against the private tree the same day: 'Susanna' and 'Susara' carry the same parents (Cornelis Andries OosthuizenL x Martha Jacomina PienaarL), both born at Burgersdorp, and are complementary halves of one life, the second row holding her death at Edenburg on 18 Sep 1934. Which of 15 or 16 April is right is not settled here and is kept as a disagreement. Moved across: death_edtf=1934-09-18. DISAGREEMENTS, kept rather than resolved - the FamilySearch id settles these in one click: display_name: kept 'Susanna Jacoba Adriana OosthuizenH', PER-001053 said 'Susara Jacoba Adriana OosthuizenM'; birth_edtf: kept '1847-04-15', PER-001053 said '1847-04-16'; tree id: kept '', PER-001053 said ''; familysearch_id: kept 'L4MJ-8BL', PER-001053 said 'GQZN-JSR'. Retired ids kept for the trail: tree, FamilySearch GQZN-JSR - a merged FamilySearch id still resolves, so it remains a usable door.

These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
