[11 Aug 2026, SRC-402, SRC-403] BIRTH CORRECTED FROM 8 SEPTEMBER TO 29 JULY 1863, on the Calvinia baptism index; her 1942 sterfkennis gives 79 years 3 months at death on 13 November 1942, which computes to about 13 August 1863 and sits between the two, nearer July. HER PARENTS: HENDRIK JACOBUS MOSTERT and MAGDALENA ELIZABETH BASSON, named on both the baptism index and the sterfkennis. Neither was in this model. SHE WAS BORN AT NIEUWOUDTVILLE, married at VAN RHYNSDORP, and died in her own house on the farm BREEKBEENKOLK in the Calvinia district on 13 November 1942, a widow of thirteen years. The estate had no movables and a bond on the land. Her son signed the notice as present at the deathbed. FOUR CHILDREN NAMED: Adriaan Hubertus, Hendrik Jacobus, Catarina Isabella - entered as "getroud met Jacobus Johannes Gideon van der MerweL", which ties this family to the van der Merwes from an original document - and Hubertus.
