[15 Aug 2026] HE IS THE JAN LOUIS OF THE RONDABEL STORY, and until today that story linked the sentence about him to his brother. MOOC8/44.48, the 1829 inventory of his father's estate, lists him as heir #2, born 14 September 1821 AT WOLVE KRAAL - on his father's own birthday, since Jan Adriaan VenterL was born 14 September 1794. That birth is twenty years before Wolwekraal was granted to Johannes Hendrik VenterL in 1841, which is the story's point: the family was on that ground long before the paper said so.
