Research notes

[14 Aug 2026 inbox, SRC-439/DOC-0298] FROM THE DEDUCTION TABLE on the back of dgm 1319/1896. Cut off Portion 2 (Botterkraal, PAR-000058) on diagram 13/1920 and transferred 12 July 1920 on transfer 9891. THE NAME IS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE SHEET: the front's map face labels the ground BOTER KRAAL OOST, and the table writes the same name and then strikes it through in favour of the bare number "Ptn. 3" - the registry preferring a number to a name, which is exactly the drift 8 says to harvest against. NO POLYGON YET: not pulled from the cadastre, so it carries no coordinate and gets no pin.
