Born in the Sneeuberg district about the end of May 1792 (her death notice's age, SRC-580) and baptised at the new Graaff-Reinet church with Smit kin standing - the family's first appearance on Karoo ground. She would marry Ockert Almero Oosthuizen and die at Prince Albert in 1858; the whole Koup story descends from this household's move.
