[16 Sep 2026] Read by a reading pass into data/opgaaf_land.csv; the Modder Fontyn line checked against the page. 61 households; the heading, veldcornet and names of lines 1-9 were on missing image 271 (their land survives: line 1 Buffels Klip, line 3 Misgunst, line 9 Diepe Kloof). MOERAS FONTYN on image 273 line 17 / 274 (checked against the page): SALOMON TERBLANS x HESTER HEL. MARE, 2 sons 3 daughters, 70 wheat 20 barley, 8500 vines, brandy 1/8, 3 wagons, 1 place in erfpacht. Same couple and same vines as the 1823 'Modder Fontyn'. Also Lamb. [?Zaayman] x Maria Sus. Terblans on Paarde Fontyn; four Prinslo households; Jan Hendk. Botha x Sus. Joh. Oosthuizen (line 22). A different Moeras Fontyn in Wessel Vosloo's ward (image 254 line 5, Joh. Jac. Meding).
