'PLAN OF CROWN LAND FARMS SITUATE IN THE DIVISION OF FRASERBURG, 2074 Registration' - a NOTING PLAN, Fraserburg / Carnarvon division boundary, SG 877/1870, Deed Sheet EK.8.DK.2, 'Numbered under the Provisions of the Deeds' Registries Act No. 47 of 1937'. *** THIS IS THE DISTRICT SHEET THAT B 459/1870 WAS DRAWN INTO, AND IT PLACES BISSIES EN ANTEEL KOLK AMONG ITS ACTUAL NEIGHBOURS, BY NAME, IN THE SAME HAND. *** 'Bissies en Anteel Kolk' is labelled on the sheet exactly where the diagram's own boundary description puts it, beside KWAAI PUTS, WATER KLOOF, ZAND PUTS, RIET POORT and VAN RENENS PLAATS - every neighbour B 459/1870 names is drawn on this sheet in the same position relative to the farm. Further out: SCHIET POORT, BOTER LEEGTE, ZOUT RIVIER, ONRUST, VERDRIET FONTEIN, DASSIE KLOOF, KARREEBOOM, KAMBOER FONTEIN, GROOT MEESTERS KUIL, TUINS KLOOF, LEEUW KRANTZ, ZAK FONTEIN - and the town FRASERBURG itself, printed across the farms south-west of Bissies en Anteel Kolk, with CARNARVON in the far distance to the north-east. This is the single richest piece of context this project holds for the ground Kola (PER-000219) farmed. LAYER: original (a Surveyor-General registration plan, not a compilation). No date is printed for the base survey beyond the 1870 diagram number it shares; the 1937 Deeds Registries Act stamp is an administrative renumbering, not content, and does not gate the sheet - the same principle 11a already applies to Surveyor-General re-stamps. [TO VERIFY] the surveyor's signature at the foot, not legible in this scan. FILE SIZE: 20.5 MB, considerably larger than this project's other scans - a full district sheet rather than a single farm's diagram. Worth a lower-resolution derivative if it is ever wanted for the map rather than the document page.
