FamilySearch attaches it to profile GV5J-HYK, Johannes Petrus Kleu, born 20 JUNE 1883, which is PER-001985 here. *** THIS EXCLUDES HIM FROM THE REMHOOGTE GRAVE, AND IT IS THE FIRST EXCLUSION IN THAT SEARCH MADE ON A RECORD RATHER THAN ON COMPILED YEARS. *** He was a communicant member at De Rust in October 1928. A man killed in 1901 was not. *** IT ALSO GIVES HIM A DAY AND A PLACE. *** His birth was held as a bare 1883 off a descendancy view; FamilySearch's profile gives 20 June 1883. And DE RUST is the second time that village has come up in this family in one evening: this project already holds the eGGSA caption 'KLUE J.D. 1869-1940' in the De Rust main cemetery, and the Johannes Diederik Klue thread ran through De Rust all afternoon. PER-001985's brothers baptise at UNIONDALE in 1910 (SRC-617) and he himself stands at DE RUST in 1928. Uniondale and De Rust are the same country, at the head of the Langkloof under the Swartberg. TWO CAUTIONS. The image is unavailable and this is an INDEX ENTRY, not the register page - 5a, note 1. And the attachment of the record to the profile is FamilySearch's own judgement, not a stated identity; two further 'Johannes Petrus Klue' entries sit in the same collection as similar records. The place string 'De Rust, Cape Town' is the indexer's, and 5 applies to the tail of it: De Rust is nowhere near Cape Town.
