3219 morgen 413 sq roods, LOT NO. 59 CALLED WINDVOGEL KRAAL, situated in the FIELD-CORNETCY OF UPPER OLIFANTS RIVER, DIVISION OF OUDTSHOORN. Extending North to Crown Land, Div. of Prince Albert (now Uniondale); South to Rooikrantz; East to Paardeberg, Paardekloof and [?Rooitzeuts]; West to Rooikrantz and Wilge River and [?Zoutkloof]. Framed from actual survey. Examiner's numerical-data certificate No. 1973/1878. A note reads 'For date of Railway line Examiners No. 402.1305'. | *** THE FIELD-CORNETCY IS 'UPPER OLIFANTS RIVER' AND THE DIVISION IS OUDTSHOORN, WHICH IS A DIFFERENT OLIFANTS FROM THE ONE 9a MEANS. *** The Oudtshoorn Olifants rises in the Swartberg, runs past De Rust and joins the Kammanassie; the prequel rule's Olifants is the west-coast river at Citrusdal and Clanwilliam. Both are 'the Olifants river' in a source and they are 350 km apart. Nothing in this project may use the phrase again without saying which. [TO VERIFY] which one the Oosthuizen heritage means.
