The citation as it was given
2495 morgen 255 square roods, later stamped 2137,4113 hectares. Field-Cornetcy of CANGO EAST, Division of Oudtshoorn. | The certificate at the foot - 'I certify that this diagram belongs to the Transfer issued this day in favour of' - IS LEFT BLANK, so the sheet names no owner at all. The only person on it is the Government Land Surveyor who signed it.
Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
