The citation as it was given
The deduction sheet of the Welbedagt diagram, headed 'General Plan No. W.35. (3313). (Farm 150 Oudtshoorn)'. Twenty-six lots, A to Z, cut from the farm between 1880 and 1955 - portions 150/1 to 150/67 with their diagram numbers and deeds, from 83/1880 to 2216/1955. The remainder, Lot Z, is 41 morgen 260 sq roods under deed Ou.Q. 3-13. | A RECORD OF GROUND AND NOTHING ELSE: no person is named on it. It matters here only because it ties the 1821 loan place to the modern farm number beyond argument.
Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
