THE MOST IMPORTANT SHEET IN THIS BATCH. Measured on the order of the Commissie van Inspectie by J.M. WENTZEL, Ges. Lande, den 2de Juny 1823, "voor Carel Aaron van der Merwe in Erfpagt Opgemeten". Redrawn copy certified namens Landmeter-Generaal 1983-02-11, so the sheet is a modern facsimile of an 1823 manuscript. Filed then in het adjunct District CLANWILLIAM, agter hantam, VeldCornetschap van Hendrik Volgraeff.

Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
