The citation as it was given

TWO OOSTHUIZEN NAMES ON ONE SHEET, AND THEY ARE A SUCCESSION. The transfer block reads "...Transfer Deed No. 1082 dated 7th March 1900 in favour of OCKERT A. OOSTHUIZEN", and the adjoining ground is labelled on the map itself "Part of Rondable formerly of J A OOSTHUIZEN" - the Jan Adriaan Oosthuysen to whom the farm was granted on perpetual quitrent in 1868 (SRC-220, EVT-000062). NEITHER MAN IS IDENTIFIED HERE, and the reason is worth stating: this model holds FOURTEEN people called Ockert A. Oosthuizen who were alive and adult in 1900, and TEN called Jan Adriaan Oosthuizen. 9 forbids matching on a name alone and this is the case it was written for. What the document establishes is a fact about the GROUND - it passed from a J.A. Oosthuizen to an Ockert A. Oosthuizen - not about which two men those were. The Traka River crosses the parcel; "from f to g the middle of stream is the boundary". Carries the same 1926 endorsement as Portion 1: a trek marked by Surveyor J.A. Loubser, closed under section 254 of Ord. 13 of 1917, gazetted 5 March 1926. | PART 2 CARRIES THE WHOLE SUCCESSION, and it is the clearest chain of tenure this project has for any of its five farms. 2107 morgen 267 square roods of QUITRENT land in the FIELD CORNETCY OF GOUPH No. 3 - the Koup, our PLC-000009 - surveyed March 1899 by H.J. Lustig, Govt. Surveyor. The text reads: "being part of that share of Rondable transferred to S.J. THERON on the 17th July, 1872, lastly transferred to S.J. & P.J. THERON on the 11th October, 1888." PUT BESIDE PART 1 AND SRC-220 THAT GIVES FOUR DATED STEPS: (1) 21 Jan 1868, joint perpetual-quitrent grant to Jan Adriaan Oosthuysen AND Stephanus Johannes Theron, folio 1066; (2) 17 July 1872, the shares separated - and Transfer Deed 208 of that same date is what Portion 1 was copied from, so 208 IS the separation; (3) 11 Oct 1888, the Theron share to S.J. & P.J. Theron; (4) 7 March 1900, Transfer 1082, part of the Theron share to an Ockert A. Oosthuizen. So the Theron half came back into Oosthuizen hands thirty-two years after the joint grant. Bounded N by Remhoogte and the Remainder of Rondable, E and S by the Remainder, and WESTWARDS "by Part of Rondable, formerly to J.A. Oosthuizen" - the two 1868 shares lying side by side on one sheet.
