Research notes

[30 Sep 2026, SRC-701] FIRST WIFE OF PER-001657, and the model held no wife for him at all. Her estate was inventoried at the Weeskamer on 22 February 1757, so she died on or before that date; no death date is stated and none is invented. The marriage is dated 13 April 1755 by the family tree, and rs to read 13de Apr. THE SURNAME ON THAT IMAGE IS NOT LEGIBLE HERE and 'Theron' is taken from the inventory, which states it plainly, not from the banns. CAREL AARON WAS BORN IN 1771, fourteen years after she died, so PER-001657 married again and the mother of the direct line is a different woman, still unknown. LEAD-0383.

[30 Sep 2026, SRC-702] FamilySearch gives her 1735-1756, which sharpens the 'died on or before 22 February 1757' this row carried from the inventory alone, and confirms the surname THERON that was not legible on the banns image.
