Research notes

[SRC-432] 'ANA BOOTA WEDEWE VAN JAN OOSTHUIJSE DE OUDE' - she gave in her goods on 31 March 1780 (MOOC8/49.20), which is how this project dates her husband's death. Fifty cattle, 318 sheep and half a worn wagon: a trekboer's estate with no opstal and no loan place named. Married Jan Hendrik OosthuijsenH (PER-001828) at Stellenbosch on 23 October 1735 [FS]; ten children, among them Johannes 'Jan d'jonge' (PER-000739), Gerrit Willem, Willem Marthinus (PER-001855) and Marthinus of Welbedagt (PER-001851). FamilySearch LC8Z-MBK. She stands on the Swellendam rolls of 1751, 1760 and 1770 beside her husband (SRC-488 to SRC-490).
