Research notes

[TREE] Added 2026-07-31 by kin_sweep.py under the one-degree rule: child of Susanna Catharina OosthuizenL (b.1811). Thin record, name, dates and the family link only. NO PLACE IMPORTED: the tree's place strings are systematically wrong and are not evidence.

[FS, 1 Aug 2026] LHF3-P9K, 1834-1921. *** THE NAME TRAVELLED. *** He is the SECOND SON, and he carries OCKERT ALMERO - his mother's father, of Middelwater. The vernoemingspatroon puts the second son on the mother's father exactly, and the first son, Casper Wynand Cornelis, carries the father's father Casper. So both grandfathers are in the first two boys, and one of them is a Karoo farm name in a family that had left the Karoo.

These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
