[TREE] Added 2026-07-31 by kin_sweep.py under the one-degree rule: parent of Matthys Andreas de BeerH (b.1766), spouse of Zacharias de BeerH (b.1719). Thin record, name, dates and the family link only. NO PLACE IMPORTED: the tree's place strings are systematically wrong and are not evidence.
[17 Aug 2026] The sweep's own summary line called her the SPOUSE of her son, which the data never said - unions has her married to Zacharias (UNI-000144) and parentage has Matthys Andreas as her child. Corrected in the wording only; nothing structural changed.
SHE IS THE "DINA" OF THE 1762 KWEEKVALLEI LOAN FARM if the identification of her husband holds: Zacharias's first wife Anna PretoriusM died in 1755, and Dina Margaretha bore his children from 1766, so she is the wife in place in 1762. She would have been twenty-two. The source for the loan farm gives only a first name, and the tie of that Zacharias to PER-000273 is itself [TO VERIFY] - see PAR-000048.

Was Hilletje Elizabeth de Beer, who married an Oosthuizen about 1807, of the Kweekvallei de Beers?

Jacobus Johannes Ockert Oosthuizen (b.1789, d. 16 Feb 1874), son of Marthinus of Tulbagh and a first cousin of the brothers who took up ground in the Koup, married Hilletje Elizabeth de Beer (b. about May 1788, d. 12 Dec 1873) around 1807. Was she of the de Beer family that had held Kweekvallei in the Koup since 1762? If she was, this marriage is a channel by which an Oosthuizen household could have learnt what ground was open behind the Swartberg.
What would settle it A document naming Hilletje Elizabeth de Beer's father.
