Open questions

• PER-000291 and PER-000767 are one Ockert Brits, and a false death date is what split them priority 1 · LEAD-0236

  This model holds Ockert BritsM twice: PER-000767 with dates 1705-1737 off the tree, and PER-000291 with no dates at all, created because he witnessed a baptism in 1755. Merge them, once the FamilySearch correction is settled.

  What would settle it Whether the Ockert BritsM of Swellendam 1760 is the Ockert BritsM of Drakenstein 1751, or his son. Until that is answered the merge is one row too wide.

• When did Ockert Brits die, and who is the Ockert Brits of the 1760 roll? priority 1 · LEAD-0251

  Ockert BritsM (PER-000767) is alive at Drakenstein in 1751 and stands at a baptism on 11 May 1755. A leaf headed 1759 names 'de wed: Ockert BritsM' at Swellendam. So he died between May 1755 and 1759. Who then is the Ockert BritsM heading a household at Swellendam in 1760 with a wife called Johanna, and the Okkert Brits with Johanna Gous on the 1770 roll?

  What would settle it A death or estate entry naming Ockert BritsM between 1755 and 1759, and a marriage entry for the younger man. Either would separate the two outright.
