KNOWN ONLY FROM THE DEDUCTION TABLE on the back of diagram 1154/1863, which is the whole of the evidence: portion 2, that extent, deed 335 of 27 January 1900. No diagram for it has been seen here and it has no polygon. 8 - a deduction table is where portion names and extents live, and this row exists because the back of the sheet was read.

[7 Aug 2026] PINNED to the cadastre on key W052C061000000000116000020. The diagram gives 1447 morgen 5 square roods = 1239 ha and the modern polygon measures 1165 ha, a difference of 6%.

[13 Aug 2026, SRC-436] NAMED FROM THE 2023 VALUATION ROLL, which gives this portion as "Toornitzkraal" (1239.4090 ha). This row previously read "Doorn Kraal No. 116 Portion 2", which was a farm-and-portion label rather than a name. The roll is a rates document and good evidence for what the ground is called now; it says nothing about what it was called when the portion was cut.
