Graves close to the Rondabel farmhouse, one of them named. CECILIA MARIA THERON, born du Plessis, lived at Rondavel, died there of consumption on 10 April 1895 aged 38, and was buried on the farm - her death notice says so (DOC-0333), and her headstone was photographed there in 2006. She was the daughter-in-law of Stephanus Johannes Theron, co-grantee of Rondabel with Jan Adriaan Oosthuizen in 1868. | HOW MANY GRAVES STAND HERE IS NOT SETTLED. They are known from childhood holidays on the farm with Tokkie Marincowitz, and the memory has been revised as the question was pressed: two graves, then her stone as one of the two, then her stone a few metres apart from a pair - which would make three. Three rows are held so the larger count is not silently dropped, and one of them would be retired if a visit found two. No coordinate has been taken, so this ground is not drawn on the map.
