LEAD-0220 and LEAD-0223 recorded 'muster roll J322 (1808)' as the route to follow on 17 Aug 2026, from the index of Cape Muster Rolls at SRC-481, before any page of this film had been seen. MOOC8/28.63 closes 'Ten mynen overstaan: A:A: Faure'; Anthony Alexander Faure was landdrost of SWELLENDAM 1798-1810 and a landdrost's authority was territorial. The 1802 estate closes 'Mij present: A: Stockenstrom, Secret:s', and Stockenstrom was secretary to Landdrost Faure of Swellendam from March 1796. A twentieth-century filming clerk's card and two eighteenth-century officials' signatures put the same district on the same family. | WHAT THE DATE MEANS. OCKERT JACOBUS OOSTHUIZEN (PER-000118) DIED AT DE MODDER FONTEYN IN APRIL 1809. This roll is of 1808 and it carries a FARMS COLUMN.
