FamilySearch probate range 1861-1863; the image is attached in the FS tree to the SON Cornelis Petrus Janse van Vuuren, 1839-deceased, FS G8KJ-3Z4, as a child of the deceased. WHAT IT PROVES, and it is a great deal. The age and the death date match the tree exactly (b. 18 May 1813, d. 4 Sep 1863). The PARENTS match the couple proposed from the tree - Johannes Marthinus Janse van Vuuren and Adriana Hermina Kock, married 25 Jan 1801. The WIFE matches the mother named in the Beaufort West baptism register. And the district is stated outright: PRINCE ALBERT - so this family is placed here by a primary document rather than by a geocoded "Swartberg" string, which 5 says never to trust. TWO OF THE CHILDREN CLOSE OTHER QUESTIONS. "Cornelis Petrus" is the child baptised in BWB-232-11, born 18 October 1839. "Johannes Marthinus" is the groom of the 1859 marriage at Welgemond. And the fifth child is GERT ADRIAAN - the name of the man who married the deceased's sister Catharina Adriana (PER-000127 x PER-000605), which is the vernoemingspatroon pointing straight back at the Oosthuizen marriage. THE RESIDENCE IS UNREAD. "[?Hoeagus]" matches no farm name in the Prince Albert or Beaufort West cadastre. Per 5 that is not evidence it is unreal - a werf name need never have reached a diagram. Recorded as a guess, marked as one. LEAD-0072.
