Navorsingsnotas
[SRC-068/069] Donated the organ that ended up in the Zeekoegat church, after the aborted 1897 Mashonaland expedition with ds Adriaan HofmeyrM and Jan LuttigM. Not a relative.
These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
Oop vrae
-
Did Ds Adriaan Hofmeyr travel to Mashonaland in 1897, after he had left Prince Albert?
prioriteit 2 · LEAD-0044
SRC-068 has Hofmeyr serving Prince Albert 1883-1895 and then joining Jan LuttigM and Cecil John RhodesH on a Mashonaland expedition in 1897, two years after he left the town. The organ that ended up at Zeekoegat came out of that trip.
Wat dit sou uitmaak A dated account of the N'gami expedition.
