After the expedition toward Mashonaland with ds Adriaan Hofmeyr and Jan Luttig MP turned back at N'gami, Rhodes offered each man a farm in Rhodesia. SRC-068 has Hofmeyr serving Prince Albert 1883-1895 and then joining Jan LuttigM and Cecil John RhodesH on a Mashonaland expedition in 1897, two years after he left the town. The organ that ended up at Zeekoegat came out of that trip.
