SECONDARY, and it cites its own primaries - RLR volumes for the loan place and the Deeds Office for title - so a claim taken from here should be attributed to the article until the RLR or deed has itself been seen. THE FARM IS OURS: 'De Tijgerhoek / Tygerhoek / Tierhoek ... (Clw. Q1.41, later no. 689 Cal.)' is PAR-000186, and the article's 1837 grant of 4446 morgen matches the 1823 survey extent this project already holds. It is named for the leopards that still take sheep there. [TO VERIFY] the marriage date: the article gives Carel Aaron van der Merwe x Elsie Johanna van Heerden as 21 January 1792; UNI-000310 in this model says 1793-01-20.
