THE FOLLOWING DEDUCTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE FROM THIS DIAGRAM, read as written: diagrams 1215/1884 to 1222/1884; lettered A 70/4 953 mg 263 sq rds 1886-12-336; B 70/6 125 mg 530, 1886-12-338; C 70/7 123 mg 58, 1886-12-339; D 70/8 121 mg 215, 1886-12-340; E 70/1 303 mg 29, 1886-12-333; F 70/2 140 mg 224, 1886-12-334; G 70/5 123 mg 161, 1886-12-337; H 70/3 386 mg 112, 1887-12-335. The letters match the strips A-H drawn across the river on the front, so Fontyn was cut into eight portions in 1884 lying across the watercourse. Reference strings transcribed as written, not interpreted.
