FETCHED 20 Aug 2026 to test the one Modderfontein the national gazetteer (SRC-510) puts in the Koup, against SRC-461's claim that there is none. *** IT IS NOT AN OLD FARM NAME. IT IS A 1954 NAME OVER A CONSOLIDATION. *** The face reads 'DIE PLAAS Modderfontein Nr. 114, BEAUFORT-WES, Skaal 1:50000 ... PLAAS MODDERFONTEIN A', 3926.83 morg, 'Saamgestel in Desember 1954 deur my', signed A.J.J. van Rensburg, Landmeter, approved by J. de Smidt, Landmeter-generaal. | THE FIVE PIECES IT IS MADE OF, as the face lists them: (1) Restant van GRASPLAATS, 158.2591 morg, Krt. 3879/1884, Grondbrief Bf.W.Q. 13-20, farm 113; (2) Restant van Perseel C van GRASPLAATS, 2116.1196 morg, Krt. 1909/1899, farm 113/3; (3) BADS HOEK BOVEN, gedeelte van DE HOOP, 578 morg, Krt.
