The citation as it was given

THE SWARTBERG WAS AN ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARY BEFORE IT WAS ANYTHING ELSE TO THIS PROJECT, and 1770 is where that starts. With SRC-423 (1775, the limits pushed to the Fish and Bosjesmans Rivers) and SRC-428 (1786, Graaff-Reinet defined by the Gamka and the mountain's north-eastern side), it completes the frame this district sat inside before the 1841 grants.

Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
