Gathered 29 Jul 2026 to settle a methodological point: register places are ADMINISTRATIVE, not residential. Beaufort West congregation founded 16 May 1820 over an area "as large as the Netherlands" in ten field cornetcies; Swartberg (Prince Albert) split off 1842-44; Willowmore 1864. A family that never moved would still appear to migrate Graaff-Reinet -> Beaufort West -> Prince Albert as new congregations were founded around them.
