Research notes

[7 Aug 2026, FROM FAMILYSEARCH] Wife of Andries Stephanus BotesL [K4PY-V4B] and MOTHER OF THE VREDENDAL WOMAN, Engela Susara Botes [PER-001526]. Her surname is worth noting: the Botes stamvader Wietse Botes married an Antje PijtersM, and the name comes round again three generations later. [FS]

These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
