Research notes

Part of the household of Jan Melchior Petrus BotesL [93TP-ZNC] and Christina Johanna De WitM [LVPM-7TL]. Brought in as the key to the Botes gravestones: this project holds 78 Botes stones and had identified three. THE JOIN TO THIS FAMILY IS A MARRIAGE - their son Michiel Josias BotesM [PER-000491] married Maria Johanna OosthuizenM [PER-000408], who is already here. Per 9a the Botes are a TOOL for stitching stones on this ground, not a family to follow outward. daughter. HER STONE IS IN THE PRINCE ALBERT NG KERK CEMETERY - 'SWANEPOEL Hester Cornelia nee BOTES 1882-1961'. [FS]

These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
